Our CrossFit Group Classes are the cornerstone of our establishment. We pride ourselves on running well-organized and professionally-instructed classes that allow all of our members to experience the best of what CrossFit has to offer - challenging workouts, cameraderie and real results.

Personal Training:

Personal training is an effective and efficient way to achieve your individual goals and get the most out of your time in our facility.

Your coach will work with you to:

  • Identify and clarify your goals related to health, fitness and/or sport
  • Conduct a functional movement assessment
  • Design a program specifically targeted at improving your deficiencies and optimizing your strengths

Personal training is recommended if you have been sedentary for a long period of time, are training for a specific sport or event, have significant health/orthopedic limitations or just prefer the additional attention and accountability.

CrossFit Kids:

CrossFit Kids is a method for teaching Greg Glassman’s CrossFit to children ages 3-18. Based on the principle of mechanics, consistency and then intensity, CrossFit Kids emphasizes good movement throughout childhood and adolescence. Consistent good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for kids. Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence to the program can have a positive impact on children’s academic achievement.

CrossFit Kids is meant to be BIG fun for all ages. Broad-Inclusive-General fun. Fun means we provide an active alternative to sedentary pursuits, which means less childhood obesity and all-around better health for our children. Further, the needs of second graders and high-school varsity wrestlers differ by degree and not kind; the program is scalable for any age or experience level and accounts for the varied maturation status one can find in a class full of kids. CrossFit Kids is designed to be minimalist; it is inexpensive and often requires little or no equipment, allowing a wide array of socioeconomic groups an opportunity to be physically fit and physically active throughout their lives.

CrossFit Team:

1.)  Reduce the likelihood of injury: Because the functional Movements prescribed by CrossFit better replicate movements common to to most sports, afford athletes better control over their own movements, and better equip athletes to handle loads they apply to external objectects / which external objects apply to them, CrossFit can dramatically reduce the likelihood overuse / misuse injuries.

2.)  Improve each athlete’s ability to adot new skills: CrossFit eliminates the most common barrier preventing athletic skill development – a lack of proper mobility – by systematically eliminating the restrictions each athlete has on their ability to move properly.

3.)  Improve camaraderie / leadership skills: Humbling for athletes at every level of fitness and skill, CrossFit instills all participants with a healthy sense of humility, empathy, courage, and respect – all qualities essential for both leaders, and within a constructive team dynamic.

Strongman Class

The "Mongrel Union" Strongman class combines Strongman movements, traditional "globo gym" exercises ( yes, even bicep curls) and CrossFit.  The aim is to increase maximal lifts by moving heavy loads under less efficient and less favorable stimuli, to improve midline stability, and to increase grip strength.  Perhaps even larger than that is watching a  member accomplishing movements that he/she did not think they can do.  All the while having fun!!  Like CrossFit, it is for everyone.  Give it a try.  You won't regret it.
