CF231 IS PROUD TO "SPOTLIGHT"
"ATHLETE OF THE MONTH" FOR JULY 2017
If you arrive at the gym @ 8:30 am any day with the exception of Saturday, you will probably run into Tommy. What you will notice initially is Tommy always seems to be in a great mood. You will see prior to class, Tommy immediately starts his stretching routine and continuing with the WOD prep. He takes his warm-up very seriously, as he prepares for whatever Crossfit throws his way. Tommy is a gifted Crossfitter, he is strong, flexible, fast and focused. Over a 1 ½ year period Tommy has made tremendous improvements in his technique which has been the foundation to his increased strength. If you watch Tommy perform a “snatch” you will know exactly what we are talking about. Tommy participated in the Crossfit Open this past year, and is already thinking about preparing for next years open….now that is focus. We are very fortunate to have Tommy as a member of CF231. Congratulations……………………Tommy

Advice for a new member or someone thinking of trying CrossFit?
You are going to have to get used to taking small steps, it takes time to get comfortable with the movements. Don’t rush it, and try not to be intimidated…easier said then done.
